Did Your Business Get A Bad Online Review For Cleanliness? What To Do

Blog

When you get a bad review for your business related to cleanliness, and you are worried that people are no longer going to use your services because they think that your place of business is dirty, it's time to make a change. You don't want to be the business that is known for being a gross place to be, and you don't want to start losing business or draw negative attention to you. Here are some of the things that you have to implement immediately so you can make a change.

Daily Maintenance and Check-Ins

Create a schedule for people to do certain cleaning tasks every day. This means that the windows and door handles are always clean, the bathrooms are always clean, and everything is kept tidy. You also want to have employees check all of the bathrooms periodically so there isn't a clogged toilet, mess around the sink, or another problem that you are unaware of, and then a customer sees it. This can help prevent more bad reviews.

Janitorial Cleaning Company

Hire janitorial cleaning services to come to your business at least once a week, maybe more if you have a lot of traffic in and out of the business location. Talk with them about doing these things:

  • Floors, surfaces, and bathrooms every week
  • Windows, dusting, and more specific tasks bi-weekly
  • Carpet cleaning and wall washing monthly

These are just some of the tasks that may be good for them to do, and the type of business you have will affect what type of cleaning needs you have. It's worth paying the money to make sure that your property is cleaned as needed.

Necessary Upgrades or Changes

There may be specific details about your property that make it look dirty. You may want to stain your tile grout a different color, you could need to put large traffic rugs over white floors or to protect carpeting and more. Look around and figure out how you can make the property look cleaner.

There are a lot of different things that could be making your business look dirty, even if it isn't. Make sure that you are checking in on all the areas throughout the space during the day and at the end of the business day so there isn't a mess for someone else to find. Then start working on getting positive reviews to overcome the bad review that was left.

An Easter Celebration

Growing up, I was extremely close to my family. In fact, I lived with my parents and my sister until I married my husband eleven years ago. Unfortunately, I moved seventy-five long miles away from my family after my wedding. But I still visit my childhood home at least once each month. Our growing family also still celebrates all of the major holidays including Easter. Because my husband and I plan to start a family soon, we hope to begin hosting more family gatherings at our home. When this takes happens, I know I will need help cleaning my house. On this blog, I hope you will discover how hiring cleaning services can help you plan a stress-free Easter celebration.
